Rod,

We want to have a spare computer for the BCS that could be set up and ready
to go in case the current computer has a problem during testing. There is a
Bridge Test working group that I've been briefing on the status and how the
BCS works. They seem to be a little up tight about anything that could stop
testing or the loss of critical data. I thought the simplest thing to do
was just get another computer and copy critical data to it once a day or
something. The only thing I can think of that's critical is the message log
and any actual recorded data. If the software was loaded and setup wouldn't
we just have to switch the com link? If this makes sense could you give me
a list computer requirements, and do you still recommend Compaq or another
brand.
